Walk with Fanmire to raise awareness and support for breast cancer research.\n\n\n\n\n\nMaking a difference is a walk in the park with Fanmire. \nWhy Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness?\nFanmire\, built on the foundation of community and connection\, aims to spark discussion\, provide guidance\, and share resources. Here at Fanmire\, we recognize the devastating effects of breast cancer on those that have been diagnosed along with their family & friends. \n1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. \nThis year\, an estimated 42\,000 women will die from breast cancer in the U.S and there are over 3.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. We have all been affected in one way or another. \nAlthough science is making tremendous strides – there is still a lack of education and resources\, specifically in the African American community. Sadly\, African American communities have the highest death rate and shortest survival of any racial and ethnic group in the US for most cancers. Fanmire\, as an African American founded company\, has decided to step in the arena and support the fight against cancer. \nThis October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we are asking you to come out and support the cause. Will you join this fight & walk with us? \n50% of all proceeds will be donated to cancer research and support.
