  • Golden Rule of a website – answering three questions within seven seconds:
    
    • What do you do?
    • What problem do you solve?
    • For whom do you solve it?
    • What is the next action to take?
  • Focus on copy on a webpage over design
  • Create specific landing pages for your customer’s needs, the homepage isn’t as critical as you think.
  • Only attend conferences that you know will give you an ROI since your avatar is going to be there.
  • Example: Don’t go to a VOIP conference if you do VOIP, instead go to where your clients are going to be at, accounting conferences to find accountants, hotel conferences to find individuals in the hotel industry, etc.
